Named after the English hymn "Jerusalem" (written by the incomparable William Blake), this compilation features no vocals until the final song...

 

"It's Grim Up North" by The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu (The JAMS), which itself climaxes with a beautiful rendition of "Jerusalem"...

 

Obviously very stark, the design was tailored to the client's desire for something that fit the austerity of the music...

 

A nod to the work of the Minimalism movement by Donald Judd, Dan Flavin (note the angle of the lines is the same as Flavin's seminal "The Diagonal of Personal Ecstasy"), et al...

 

The sleeve provides an interesting mental image when listening to the musical soundscapes within...

 

Inviting the listener to both ponder how the music matches the stripped-down sleeve and imagine additional imagery.
